ShopRite of South Brunswick Opens

South Brunswick, NJ (Nov. 6, 2019) – Saker ShopRites today opened its newest store, the ShopRite of South Brunswick, located in Heritage Plaza at 4154 US Route 1, Monmouth Junction. The state-of-the-art, 72,000-square-foot World Class ShopRite supermarket will employ approximately 300 full- and part-time associates.

The new ShopRite of South Brunswick includes:

  • A 2,500-square-foot nutrition center with more than 3,000 items, including an assortment of natural, organic, gluten free and allergy friendly foods. The center will be staffed with Nutrition Associate experts with knowledge of all the products
  • A World Class Patisserie and specialty bakery where French pastries and cakes are sold
  • Hundreds of World Class Bakery items
  • A wide assortment and selection of famous Artisan Breads
  • Expanded selections of international food items
  • Extensive selections of domestic and imported cheeses from around the world
  • A beautiful floral department with associates who can help design custom bouquets on site

  • Online ShopRite From Home pickup and delivery options
The new store is outfitted with the latest energy-saving and sustainable technologies in refrigeration, lighting and recycling. Some of these features include glass doors on the dairy and freezer cases, LED and T-8 lighting, as well as a state-of-the-art bio-digester for reducing waste.

Richard Saker noted that the family-owned Saker ShopRites has a strong commitment to Middlesex County, as well as a history of becoming an integral part of each community where their stores operate.
