The ShopRite of Marlton will host a Gluten-Free Festival
on Saturday, October 19th
from 10 AM to 2 PM. ShopRite’s very own in-store dietitian, Ashley Cully, RD, will be on hand to educate individuals and families on budget-friendly ways to manage Celiac disease and will offer recipe and product suggestions to help ease the transition into a gluten-free lifestyle. Dr. Ritu Verma, a pediatric gastroenterologist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Director of the Center for Celiac Disease, will also be available to advise families on the ways in which to navigate a Celiac diagnosis.
The Gluten-Free festival will include samplings, tasting and giveaways from some of the most popular national, gluten-free brands, including Bolthouse Farms, Cabot, Crunchmaster, Enjoy Life, and many more.
The ShopRite of Marlton expanded its gluten-free offerings earlier this year to include a designated Gluten-Free department, which features well-known national brands in both packaged and frozen varieties to accommodate and meet the individual, gluten-free needs of every ShopRite customer.
Customers are encouraged to attend Saturday’s free event to learn more about ShopRite’s gluten-free offerings. For a one-on-one, free consultation with Ashley Cully, RD, customers can make an appointment by calling the store at (856) 983-7370 or by emailing Ashley at email@example.com
As part of ShopRite’s commitment to helping its customers live healthier lives, an on-site registered dietitian is available in many of its stores on a daily basis for free customer consultation. This service offers customers the opportunity to discuss their health and dietary needs with a nutrition professional. Customers can consult with ShopRite retail dietitians on a number of issues, including learning how to shop for healthy meals, proper nutrition for specific medical conditions – such as Celiac disease - or simply how to get more fruits and vegetables into their diet.
