Survey Reveals Dietitian's Favorites

March 30, 2018

In-Store Nutrition Experts at ShopRite Choose Brussels Sprouts, Tumeric and Farro as Top Picks

Ever wonder what ShopRite dietitians eat when they’re not on the job? ShopRite recently released the results of a survey that asked over 100 ShopRite Registered Dietitians about their favorite recipes and meals. The results are shared through the supermarket’s newest Well Everyday theme, “Dietitian’s Dish,” an educational campaign that uses in-store signage, social media content and circular ads to assist customers in making healthier food choices.
“One of the most frequent questions customers ask our in-store dietitians is what kinds of foods and recipes are their personal favorites,” says Natalie Menza-Crowe, MS, RD, Director of Health and Wellness at ShopRite. She explains that when it comes to eating healthy, nutrition experts face the same day-to-day challenges as everyone else. “Dietitians are pressed for time, many have picky eaters at home, and everyone wants to whip up fast and tasty meals. Plus, just like our customers, dietitians are always on the lookout for a great snack.”
Menza-Crowe says that one of the goals of the campaign is to provide real-life recommendations from ShopRite’s team of dietitians so that customers will be able to discover new foods and meal inspirations that are both healthy and delicious.
