ShopRite Raises $95K to Support Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center
Keasbey, NJ (March 19, 2014) –
ShopRite stores throughout the Hudson Valley region raised more than $95,000 in support of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center during the month of January this year. The donations were collected at checkout from the generous customers at ShopRite during the Together for our Children
campaign and a check was presented to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital representatives on March, 14th
, 2014 (see photo).
Located in Valhalla, NY, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center is the children’s hospital for New York’s Hudson Valley region and Fairfield County, CT. It provides lifesaving and life-changing care to thousands of local children each year, including those in need of open heart surgery, brain surgery, cancer treatment, trauma and burn care, organ transplants and more.
