ShopRite of LaGrangeville Opens

ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. today announced that the grand opening of its new 44,000-square foot ShopRite of LaGrangeville, located at 1643 NY-82.
Owned and operated by ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. (SRS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Wakefern Food Corp., the largest supermarket cooperative in the United States, ShopRite of LaGrangeville features a large selection of fresh produce, natural and organic products and ShopRite’s low, everyday prices. The store adds over 175 jobs to the local economy.
As part of the ribbon cutting ceremony Sunday, April 17, ShopRite made a special donation to Trinity United Methodist Church of LaGrange, which supports the Trinity U.M.C Food Pantry and Hillcrest House, a local homeless shelter.

The store underwent extensive renovations to meet the standards that ShopRite customers have come to expect. ShopRite of LaGrangeville will provide customers with a full-service supermarket featuring a broad array of groceries containing both private label items and national brands, daily deliveries of fresh produce – with a large variety of conventional and organic produce from both around the corner and the world – and a range of locally sourced products. In addition, ShopRite of LaGrangeville will also offer a variety of services including: a from-scratch fresh bake shop featuring store made special occasion cakes and boulangerie bread made by hand every day; fresh meat cut to order; fresh seafood delivered daily; and an assortment of prepared foods and grab-and-go items, including fresh-made sushi, Boars Head Brand® and Black Bear deli products, and over 250 varieties of domestic and international cheeses.
ShopRite of LaGrangeville also features energy-saving and sustainable technologies in refrigeration and lighting, including glass doors on the dairy and freezer cases, LED lighting throughout the store and its parking lot, and an improved refrigeration system to maximize energy efficiency.   
For added convenience, the store will offer Mobile Scan, a free service that allows customers to use the camera on their personal mobile device (iOS or Android) to scan barcodes of items as they shop, along with self-checkout lanes.
The new ShopRite of LaGrangeville will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:00AM to 12:00AM and Sunday from 6:00AM to 10:00PM. ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. operates 33 stores in New York and New Jersey.
