ShopRite of Brooklawn Donates Technology Center to Local South Jersey High School

AUDUBON, NJ (January 14, 2014) – The ShopRite of Brooklawn, owned and operated by the Brown family, will offer new learning opportunities for the students at the Audobon High School, located in South Jersey. A formal ribbon cutting will unveil a new technology center at the school to enhance their current curriculum. The new center includes a total of 25 technology work stations, two wireless printers and everything needed to inspire creative learning. The school educates approximately 500 6th through 12th grade students and has been ranked in the top 10 high schools located in Camden County, New Jersey. A media event will take place on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Audubon High School in Audubon, NJ.

The Brown family also made a large donation back in 2001 to Brooklawn's Alice Costello School, which has 300 students enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade. That donation was used to support the building of a new gymnasium for students in a town that otherwise could not have funded the project. “Our mission is to Bring Joy to the Lives of the People We Serve and we are dedicated to helping the communities we do business in,” states Jeff Brown, President and CEO of Brown’s Super Stores. “We are excited to bring cutting-edge technology to the students of Audubon High School and feel that this addition to the school’s curriculum will help better prepare the students for college and careers later in life.” The center was also sponsored by Lynmar Builders, Coca Cola,
U.S. Global Glow and Precise Graphix Décor Company.
