Huggies and ShopRite Donate A Half Million Diapers

November 14, 2018
As part of an initiative to help families struggling with diaper need in New Jersey, ShopRite teamed up with Huggies to donate 250,000 diapers to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, a member of the National Diaper Bank Network.

The initiative is part of a larger donation of 500,000 diapers and $10,000 to the National Diaper Bank Network to help tackle diaper need.  From July to October, ShopRite and Huggies donated a day’s worth of diapers to the National Diaper Bank Network for each package of Huggies diapers purchased at ShopRite store.

For the second year, ShopRite donated 250,000 diapers to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and 250,000 diapers to the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank for every Huggies product purchased at a ShopRite store during the No Baby Unhugged program. ShopRite and Huggies delivered those diapers to the food banks in November.

As the founding sponsor of the National Diaper Bank Network, Huggies has donated more than 200 million diapers and wipes since 2011. Families in diaper need struggle to provide enough clean diapers to keep their baby or toddler clean, dry and healthy.
