ShopRite’s famous annual Can Can Sale, now in its 44th year, begins Sunday, January 4th and will run through Saturday, January 24th. The Can Can sale continues to have a loyal and devoted following among ShopRite customers who eagerly await this annual event. Over the years, the Can Can Sale has changed and grown. Originally intended to focus solely on ShopRite Private Label products, today many national brands are included, as well.

Mayor Rawlings-Blake, ShopRite Expand Baltimore’s Virtual Supermarket Program to Include Perkins Homes and Wayland Village

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Interim Health Commissioner Dr. Jacquelyn Duval-Harvey joined representatives from Klein’s Family Markets and ShopRite of Howard Park, as well as members of the community, to announce the expansion of Baltimore City’s Virtual Supermarket Program to two additional communities—Perkins Homes and Wayland Village Senior Apartments. The Virtual Supermarket Program is a nationally award-winning program that increases food access in neighborhoods designated as food deserts by providing online ordering and delivery options.

ShopRite of Little Falls announced the top three winners of its 2nd Annual ShopRite Sprouts Awards at a special ceremony on December 1, 2014 at the Totowa Library. The ShopRite Sprouts program is an eight week incentive program designed to encourage children to try new fruits and vegetables.

LOCAL SHOPRITE STORES OFFER UNIQUE NEW SERVICE

To help customers live healthier lifestyles, four local ShopRite stores will now provide the services of an in-store dietitian.  DJ Romano, President of RoNetco Supermarkets, a family business that owns and operates seven ShopRite stores in northwest New Jersey, announced today that ShopRite stores in Hackettstown, Flanders, Succasunna and Byram now offer the free nutrition service to all customers.

Who doesn't love the biannual Can Can sale at ShopRite? I mean, just the song itself is enough to make me want to run to my local store and stock up on canned goods (you can thank me for the earwig later). In fact, I was humming the tune the other day and my fiancee looked at me and said, “Thanks. Now I'll be singing that for days.”

I’d be lost without breakfast. I would be a total crazy person without it. With the world’s ever-quickening pace, I need every bit of fuel to get through the day. As wonderful as grab-and-go breakfasts are, they never seem to give me what I need. A good cooked breakfast is the best way to start off the day,

In the dead of winter, few things are as comforting as a well-stocked pantry.  Snowstorm coming?  No problem – a pantry full of staples means there are enough canned vegetables, beans and dried pasta to last for days. (Maybe weeks!)  No time for a big trip to the grocery store? A fully loaded pantry helps stretch out the full-cart shopping trips.
